Before we get into the finer details of this new model by wilson, you simply have to try it. It is unique from any other racket. Love it or loathe it , it’s totally out of the box different.
I tried both model ( 295 grams and 310grams tour version ) and they both play much lighter than the stats. This is mainly because of the softness and flexibility of the frame.
This is without a doubt the most flexible ( premium ) racket on the market. It is very easy to use and so soft on your arm.
It is quite a thick frame, 100sqinch head and open string pattern , so it’s not for the purists of our sport.
Who will it suit? Well in my opinion it will suit various style players. I would describe this racket as a premium version of a “ team “ racket. If you have any arm issues at all, then this will suit you. If you have smaller slower strokes this will suit you. If you are not as young, fit and strong as you use to be, this will suit you. Note if you are a tennis coach delivery lots of hours per week, get it on your bag immediately.
Personally for me, it was a little too soft and I struggled to “ feel” the ball on the racket , but it must be said it was the easiest racket I have ever tried.
It’s very different but would suit most club players that want the latest premium tech racket available.
Try it out, you might just love it!
